Canola Association weighs in on the oilseed’s RFS eligibility

The EPA is proposing canola oil as a feedstock for renewable diesel and newer biofuels. The agency found fuels produced from the oil reduces greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50 percent compared to petroleum.

Tom Hance with the U.S. Canola Association spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on how this might open new channels for the crop, the benefits of canola, and how this might level the playing field between canola and other oilseed crops.
