#CMAFest24 kicks off with Country for a Cause!

TG Sheppard and Kelly Lang host the charity event. All the proceeds go to Vanderbilt University’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. The night brings together chart toppers from years gone by and the new faces of country music.

For Lang, a successful singer, songwriter, and author, it’s not just a way to give back...the event has a personal connection. She also performed her new song “Under a Tennessee Moon,” which recently became Tennessee’s new, official state song.

Tammi was raised on a cotton and soybean farm in Tallulah, Louisiana. In 1981, she became a TV news anchor and reporter at KNOE-TV in Monroe, Louisiana. She is also an anchor/reporter for RFD-TV and Rural Radio Channel 147 on Sirius XM at their Nashville news studio, where Tammi currently resides.
