After a brief pause, another state is reporting a case of HPAI in a dairy herd.
Colorado is now the ninth state to report the virus. The state’s Department of Agriculture has not said how many dairy cows were infected but said the animals were showing signs consistent with other cases.
Animal health officials continue to press proper biosecurity measures as the best way to prevent further spread.
