Dairy Pride Act gets introduced in the House

Borden Dairy Bankruptcy

The Dairy Pride Act was recently introduced into the Senate. It now has a companion bill in the House.

Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden says it would require products from seeds or plants to no longer be labeled with dairy terms.

He says allowing products to camouflage as dairy is unacceptable to the nation’s dairy producers.

The Act has a long bipartisan list of supporters, including Tammi Baldwin, Roger Marshall, Debbie Stabenow, Tammy Baldwin, and more.
