Rock legend, David Crosby, passed away this week at the age of 81. He was a singer-songwriter-guitarist and a founding member of two popular 1960 rock bands, the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
During their career as a band, they had 2 Grammy Awards with 4 nominations and were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Legend Bob Dylan described Crosby as “a colorful and unpredictable character...had a beautiful voice - an architect of harmony.”
The country music industry quickly took to social media to honor the late legend.

We were recording Cracked Rearview and a friend said she knew David Crosby.Sure enough we were finishing the record and one day she walks in with him. He was so awesome to hang with. Then he sang on Hold My Hand and took it to a greater level. God rest his soul.Thank u man! pic.twitter.com/vWhtZnb1N0

Graham Nash, who went his separate ways from the band, paid tribute to his “brother” on social media.
David was fearless in life and in music. He leaves behind a tremendous void as far as sheer personality and talent in this world.
