Durango Boots’ Cowgirl Scholarship Winner Shares Her Advocate Journey

“Be willing to stick out and be different... to help inspire others, and that’s what I really hope to do...”

In a celebration of American cowgirls nationwide, Durango Boots is awarding its second annual National Day of the Cowgirl Scholarship today!

Recipient Laurel Cox is an undergraduate animal science and journalism at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has a passion for advocating for the industry and making an impact on the next generations of cowgirls.

Laurel and Durango Boots Market Manager Erin Delong stopped by the RFD-TV studio and spoke with Tammi Arender about Laurel’s journey, what this scholarship means, and why it is so important for Durango to recognize hard-working students.
