EU hopes to reach Ukraine grain export deal this week

The EU is hopeful for a Ukraine grain export deal this week.

The four-way talks between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the United Nations continue today to unblock the export of grains in the Black Sea region. An EU Representative for Foreign Affairs says that this is not a diplomatic game anymore, it is an issue of life and death.

The EU, along with others, hope to reach an agreement this week to unblock the Odesa Port, which has been blocked for five months now, despite the tens of thousands of people who depend on it.
