Ukraine and Russia are making progress on grain talks

Finally making progress, the United Nations says talks between Ukraine and Russia could be leading toward a resolution.

Officials are saying an agreement to move trapped grain out of Ukraine could be reached by next week. Efforts to get crops out of the country to avoid a massive global food crisis have been going on for weeks, but there is a new sense of urgency now because, in order to make room for the current harvest, they would have to waste the millions of tons of grain already in storage bins.

We will continue to follow the talks and hopefully bring you news of an export agreement next week.
