Fertilizer prices have fallen for the fifth straight week

Fertilizer prices continue to trend lower now for the fifth straight week.

All eight of the major fertilizers declined in the latest DTN update. DAP was five percent less than one month ago; anhydrous is slightly lower this week after last week’s 7 percent drop but is still 82 percent higher than a year ago; the remaining six were just slightly lower.

Despite lower prices over the last month, all fertilizers continue to be considerably higher on the year.
