FFA member and American Idol contestant, Alex Miller stopped by MDR to perform one of his songs

A 17-year-old FFA member from Lancaster, Kentucky captured rural America’s attention on American Idol. Alex Miller performed traditional country music from artists like Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash in front of millions of viewers.

He joined RFD-TV’s Janet Adkison in the MDR studio to talk about himself, competing on American Idol, and his love of music. He also stuck around to perform his song “I’m Over You, So Get Over Me”.
