INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (RFD News) — National FFA Western Region Vice President Jael Cruikshank is preparing to close out her year of service as members gather in Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention.
Cruikshank joined Monday’s Market Day Report as part of the Countdown to Convention presented by Culver’s.
In her conversation with RFD News, Cruikshank reflected on growing up around her family’s century farm in Oregon and how her experiences in agriculture shaped her path. She said working in agriculture taught her the importance of working hard even when no one is watching.
As convention approaches, Cruikshank said she is most looking forward to reconnecting with FFA members she met throughout the year and celebrating their accomplishments.
What started with free pizza at a sixth-grade FFA meeting eventually led Nowotny to national office.
