First Performers Announced for CMA Music Festival

This afternoon, the CMA announced the first batch of performers who will entertain fans at the 2017 CMA Music Festival. The annual event celebrates its’ 46th year in 2017 and is the not-to-be-missed spectacle for country music fans. Over the course of four days (June 8-11), fans can enjoy hundreds of artists in downtown Nashville and the majority of those shows are FREE!

Today, the Country Music Association announced the artists who’ll perform at the Gildan Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe near Nashville’s riverfront. These talented up-and-comers include Ashley Campbell (daughter of country great Glen Campbell), Craig Wayne Boyd (winner of Season 7 of NBC’s The Voice) and new duo Smithfield (hailed by Rollingstone as one of The 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know).

Ray’s Roadhouse is a weekly program featuring the music of Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel. Ray and his band Asleep at the Wheel has had a more than 50 year career in the music industry and over the years have earned nine Grammy Awards. The program also will feature guest performers such as Pat Green, Stoney LaRue and Kelly Willis.
