A Florida woman was surprised twice when she delivered not one, but two sets of twins in one year!
Alexzandria Wolliston gave birth to her first set of twins, two boys Mark and Malakhi, in March, and her second set were delivered in December, Kaylen and Kayleb.
Wolliston says twins run in her family but was unaware that was the case before she got news of her first set of twins.
“When my mom told me, and my aunties and uncles on my dad’s side told me, I was like shocked,” she told NBC News Wednesday.
The 2018 twin birth rate was 32.6 twins per 1,000 births according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Both sets of twins are happy and healthy!
