Following recent HPAI outbreaks, what price trends can we expect for Thanksgiving?

High path avian influenza has affected 59 million birds in the U.S. We saw record turkey and egg prices during the 2022 holiday season as a result.
With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, many are now wondering what type of price trends we can expect this year.

American Farm Bureau Economist, Bernt Nelson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on last year’s trends, what all this means for turkey prices, and what other Thanksgiving staples might see price increases.
