Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s 2024 Grand Champion steer sells for $340,000!

Last year’s winner sold for $230,000.

The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo wrapped up this weekend, but not without the sale of the Grand Champion Steer.

The 1,324 pound European cross sold Saturday for $340,000. The steer is named Leadfoot and was raised by a 17 year old 4-H member from Dallam county. A Fort Worth based insurance and financial services broker bought the steer.

The Reserve Grand Champion Steer sold for $230,000.
