GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (RFD NEWS) — A number of military veterans have found careers in farming after returning home. With May being Military Appreciation Month, Kubota is preparing initiatives to support veterans and military families.
Army National Guard veteran and Kubota Tractor Corporation President Alex Woods joined us on Wednesday’s Market Day Report to discuss the company’s year-round dedication to honoring American Heroes in agriculture.
In his interview with RFD News, Woods shared about Kubota’s “Boot Campaign” and how people can get involved, and highlighted the company’s long-term commitment to veterans through the “Geared to Give Program.”
He also explained why these efforts are important for Kubota, as well as their recent recognition of the 2026 Geared to Give recipients at a NASCAR event.
Hurd joined this week’s Champions of Rural America to review the proposed Farm Bill moving through the House and discuss its potential impact on rural communities and farmers across the country.
