Here is the story behind the Forest Service’s first female research scientist

Hard-working and intelligent women have ingrained themselves in the history of the Forest Service since the agency’s very start.
This next research scientist paved the way as the first woman to fill such a role back in 1910.

The Forest Service brings us her story.
