Justin Wilson Looking Back: Boiled Brisket of Beef

Serves 6 people

Ingredients:

  • One 3-5 pound of beef brisket
  • Dried mint to taste
  • Louisiana hot sauce to taste
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Onion powder to taste
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • Dried parsley to taste
  • Salt if needed

Instructions:

Put all the ingredients in a large pot and add enough water to cover the brisket. Bring to a boil, then reduce the fire to a simmer, and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
