Serves 8-10 people
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of ground beef chuck
- 1 cup of regular grits
- 5 cups of water
- 2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- Louisiana hot sauce to taste
- Worcestershire sauce to taste
- 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese
- Garlic powder to taste
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in a large saucepan and cook until the grits are firm, or the way you like them.
Then put the mixture in the top of a double boiler, cover, and cook for about 1 hour over low heat.
