Serves 4 people
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of oyster juice
- 8 cups of water
- 1 cup of chopped onions
- 1 cup of chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon chopped bell peppers
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of dried mint
- 2 dozen shucked oysters
Instructions:
Put all the ingredients except the oysters in a large pot and cook for 30 to 40 minutes at a nice simmer.
Add the oysters, cook for another 15 minutes, and serve.
