With the devastation from Hurricane Harvey, many have jumped into action. One group is Katy FFA chapter from Katy, Texas.

FFA’s motto, “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” Living to Serve is exactly what FFA members did. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, members helped their community with recovery efforts by cleaning up houses and aiding with the demolition process, so that families can begin rebuilding their lives.

Not only do members help their community in times of disaster, each year, they also raise funds to adopt children in need for the holiday season and provide presents for the families through their local “Santa Cops” program.
