Day two of CMA Music Festival saw more fans pour into Music City. While some artists host fan club parties this week, others meet their fans one-on-one at Fan Fair X, inside the spacious Music City Center.
RFD-TV once again played host to fan favorites, as well as new, up and coming artists. Day two kicked off with 14-year old sensation, Bailey James. A gifted songwriter and performer, James writes songs her young fans can relate to, but her voice has the rich, powerful sound of a true artist. Look for her new single, “Run Girl.”
Country singer-songwriter Lucas Hoge, named “one of the 10 new country artists you need to know” by Rolling Stone stopped by. Lucas’ new single, “Dirty South” is available now he was recently named a Cabela’s Brand Ambassador.
Fans packed into the booth to see Sylvia, who had the ‘80s crossover hit, “Nobody.”
Members of the hit RFD-TV show, Larry’s Country Diner, created a scene as they blew into the booth. In full character, Nadine, Keith and Renae the Waitress greeted fans, took pictures and charmed the crowd. “When these folks come to see us,” said Keith Bilbrey, “they are not coming to see celebrities. They’re coming to see family.”
You can catch “Larry’s Country Diner” Thursdays at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT / 6 PM MT / 8 PM PT on RFD-TV.
The Hee Haw Honeys were a fan favorite.
Sarah Dunn (of the Sarah Dunn Band) drew new and established fans with her sweet smile and magnetic personality. The “Figure It Out,” singer, not only has strong vocals but is also a fiddling dynamo.
Cowboy, Austin Wahlert, who performed at RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN a few months ago, showed up for his second day at the RFD-TV booth to tip his hat to the fans and share his latest album, “I Will Win,” available on iTunes.
Producers from the newly restored “The Jimmy Dean Show,” which airs on RFD-TV were on hand to talk to fans about the classic show.
And singer Kelly Lang, whose career began at age 15, brought along her husband, T.G. Sheppard, much to the delight of their fans.
