LSU Ag Center Watermelon Day

An ice-cold watermelon makes a great summer treat. At the LSU Sugar Research Station, a watermelon patch became a teaching tool for the community. Nearly 130 people attended the field day, so expect to see more watermelons growing in St. Gabriel next year.
