Major League Baseball Returns to Iowa’s Field of Dreams

The Phillies and Twins faced off in the first MLB game at the site’s new permanent ballpark.

DYERSVILLE, Iowa (RFD News) — Major League Baseball returned to the famous Field of Dreams site Thursday night, with the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins facing off in the first MLB game played at the site’s new permanent ballpark.

The event brought America’s pastime back to the Iowa cornfields, with agriculture once again at the heart of the celebration.
