As we enter the growing season, the National Agricultural Aviation Association is urging the industry to be mindful of drone operators.
Ag vehicles treat 127 million acres of cropland in the country each year to help farmers increase productivity and protect crops, pastures, and outer resources.
Uncrewed aircraft system operators or drones are not allowed above 400 feet without a waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration. Often flying as low as ten feet off the ground.
That is why the association wants farmers and drone operators to be aware of manned aircraft.
