McDonald’s is alleging a price-fixing scheme

McDonald’s is suing eight companies that they claim conspired to fix pork prices over the last 14 years. Some of those names include Tyson, Hormel Foods, JBS, and Seaboard.

The fast-food chain giant claims the groups conspired to fix, raise, maintain, and stabilize the price of pork and worked to restrict output and limit production from 2008 to 2009.

They filed the lawsuit the day after Thanksgiving and none of the defendants have publicly responded.
