INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 medium red bell pepper, deseeded and chopped
- 4 cups of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese with herbs
- 1/3 cup prepared Italian dressing (not creamy) or vinaigrette
- 1/4 cup of pitted Kalamata olives, chopped
- 4 pita breads, toasted
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add the beef and bell pepper and cook for 8-10 minutes. Break the beef into crumbles and stir occasionally.
- Remove the cooked ground beef from the heat and pour off the drippings.
- Add the lettuce, cheese, dressing, and olives to the beef mixture and toss.
