Bill Pigott, a dedicated Walthall County farmer, former dairy producer, and long-serving state legislator, has been honored with the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Distinguished Service Award.

This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals who have significantly impacted Mississippi agriculture and the Farm Bureau organization.

As the chairman of the State House of Representatives Agriculture Committee, Pigott has been a steadfast champion for rural communities, working to ensure their concerns are addressed in Jackson. His lifelong commitment to agriculture and public service exemplifies his unwavering dedication to preserving and promoting Mississippi’s farming heritage.
