Nashville, TN
Dog-lovers and fans of Miranda Lambert were up early today to take part in the first MuttNation March in Nashville. Mayor Megan Barry was on hand to lead hundreds of fans (and their four-legged friends) through the city.
“This is our first ever Mutt March,” Bev Lambert told the crowd. “It’s been a long time dream of my daughter’s and we never thought it would come to fruition. You Nashvillians are so blessed to have a CMA that is dog-friendly and more especially, a mayor that would allow this to take place in this great city.”
“Miranda and I formed MuttNation around ten years ago, out of a passion that we’ve shared her entire life,” Lambert’s mom explained. “We both have jobs, obviously, but what we do in our spare time together and what draw us together as mother and daughter the most, is our shared passion for animals and in particular, rescue pets.”
MuttNation will be at FanFairX in the Music City Center with 70 adoptable pets. Find out more about MuttNation.
