National Corn Growers weighs in on the battle of the biofuel waivers

Speculation looms in the ethanol sector as a federal court halted last-minute biofuel waiver granted by the Trump EPA, which accounts for more than 250 million lost gallons of renewable fuel.

President of the National Corn Growers Association, John Linder speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on his initial reaction, how the waivers can impact corn producers, and their hopes moving forward.

“This doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise, more of a disappointment... We’ve had a four year long effort to actually work against this kind of activity, because it really is not in keeping with the letter of the law,” he states.
