It is National FFA Week!
Western Region VP David Lopez-Larious, a California native, hopes to encourage others to get involved in agriculture, no matter their background.
Lopez-Larious speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on what this week means for the organization, how he became involved with FFA, and what he is planning to do this week in celebration.
“Once I got into high school, I really saw all the opportunities available whether that was the leadership components or just understanding the industry a little bit better. So, definitely just that small encounter with livestock made me be the man I am today, a man who loves this organization and what it stands for and what it does for other students,” he explains.
