Agriculture ranks as one of the nation’s most dangerous occupations.
That is why the Nebraska Agrability Program works to support farmers and ranchers impacted by health conditions or disabilities.
Former Fire Chief and farmer Eric Fass is one of the many success stories of the program, after experiencing a brain injury while trying to gain control of a runaway heifer at a county fair.
He spent months in rehabilitation, learning to navigate life.
Agrability stepped in, providing devices and techniques to help Eric and his family as they continue their mission in agriculture.
Eric and his wife Amanda spoke with RFD-TV’s Tammi Arender about their family farm, the support they have seen through the program, and their message to the ag community.
