New bill would direct Transportation Secretary to keep AM radios in vehicles

A bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced legislation to keep AM radio in new vehicles.
The bill would direct the Transportation Secretary to set a new standard, keeping the popular rural medium in place at no extra charge to the consumer.
