New Jersey recently confirmed the state’s first case of High Path Avian Influenza in a Monmouth County non-commercial backyard flock. More than 38 million birds have now been affected by HPAI this year.
Dr. Sandra Strilec with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison to give an update on how they are addressing the cases while also highlighting safety protocols farmers need to keep in mind moving forward.
