Nashville, TN – June 2, 2023 – Beginning Friday, June 2, and continuing for the next 13 weeks throughout the summer, music fans and viewers can tune in for On The Record, RFD-TV’s newest music series that takes viewers on a journey through the heart of country music. Hosted by renowned broadcaster Suzanne Alexander, the show features long-form interviews with today’s biggest artists and the veterans who inspired them. From their big break and record deal beginnings to their latest chapter, untold stories are shared that shaped these dynamic singers, songwriters, and musicians. Focusing on the life, career, and music of the genre’s greatest artists, On the Record highlights the broad scope of Music City’s talent. In addition to sit-down interviews, viewers get a front-row seat to intimate performances and exclusive music video releases.

On The Record goes in-depth with today’s stars. Viewers will have the chance to hear about those early days when they first landed their record deal and the milestones they’ve celebrated, said Suzanne Alexander. “Viewers will hear from artists with decades-long careers like Joe Nichols, our first episode, and Terri Clark to newcomers like Tenille Townes and brand-new artists like bluegrass singer Zach Top. On The Record gets to the heart of their music and their passion for performing.”

Tune in for episode one of On The Record, premiering this Friday, June 2, at 8:30 pm ET on RFD-TV. Episodes will also repeat at 9:00 pm PT to provide west coast primetime viewing. Suzanne’s first guest is multi-platinum-selling artist Joe Nichols who shares how he overcame hurdles to achieve one of the longest-running careers in country music.
