NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) Flames burned more than 2,300 square miles in four states, leaving behind blackened pastures and livestock in need of feed. Through the generosity of fellow producers, emergency hay supplies have been made available to those cow-calf operators in dire need of feed resources. Kansas State Beef Systems Specialist Justin Waggoner advises those producers to closely evaluate the quality of that hay, and to make the most of it.
