In honor of President’s Day, we thought we would pay tribute to the most famous peanut farmer in the world!
39th President, Jimmy Carter was inducted into the Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2018. He was the first President to ever receive the honor. At the time, he called it the highlight of his career in agriculture.
He told the University of Georgia, his position as President helped form agriculture policy at home and abroad.
