The National Pork Board wants the public to know that pork is safe and it is a very diverse protein. They also want to reassure the public that producers are taking precautionary strategies and that the supply of pork is strong. However, the industry is adjusting for the increase in demand brought on by consumers stocking up due to the coronavirus.
