President Biden’s infrastructure plan makes investments in natural resources

By now we know the details of President Biden’s infrastructure plan.

Most lawmakers who represent rural districts are reluctant to back it because of the costs, but the plan would make investments in so-called “green infrastructure.”

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says that the plan would open doors by investing in natural resources.

According to Sec. Vilsack, “Numerous sets of revenue streams, new income opportunities for farmers. Utilizing their land to sequester methane and converting it into a wide variety of energy and fuel opportunities, converting agricultural waste into a multitude of materials. You can’t do that unless you have the investment in the conservation programs and the research and development and advance biofuels.”

The plan also targets $100 billion dollars towards broadband.
