Presidential pardon turkeys are helping educate future ag leaders

Two North Carolina-raised turkeys, Chocolate and Chip, are headed from the White House to the school house!

They received this year’s White House Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon this week.
After their fifteen minutes of fame, these two plump poultry friends will live out their days at North Carolina State University’s Tally Turkey Education Unit.

In partnership with the National Turkey Federation, NC State is proud to receive Chocolate and Chip, who will promote poultry production and agriculture to students and faculty.

Tara Beaver Coronado (formerly known as Beaver Vineyards) is a farmer in Northern California. She raises grain crops with her dad. Tara planted her very first vineyard in 2018. Her channel is centered around her daily life on the farm, as well as promoting the diversity and scale of California agriculture.
