Purchases of diesel fuel on Canadian farms is rarely hedged

Purchases of diesel fuel happen several times a year on nearly all Canadian farms, and yet, it is a purchase that is rarely hedged. That is according to the latest survey by RealAgriStudies.

Host of Real Ag Radio, Shaun Haney spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about why fuel has been something that is infrequently hedged, how much fuel storage is on-farm in Canada, and why is there so little on-farm fuel storage.

You can catch Shaun on his show Real Ag Radio, which airs at 4:30 pm Eastern weekdays on Rural Radio channel 147 on SiriusXM.
