“Race Nebraska” is aiming to bolster equine education and horse racing in the state

Horse racing is on the rise in the Husker State.

A program from Nebraska Extension is now helping boost the future of the industry, bringing together youth, owners, and breeders to explore all aspects of the equine sector.

Dr. Kathy Anderson with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln spoke with RFD-TV’s Tammi Arender about “Race Nebraska,” what qualifies as a Nebraska-bred, and how people can get involved.
