BEATRICE, NEB. (RFD NEWS) — Exmark has been building mowers for more than 40 years, offering equipment ranging from zero-turn riders to stand-on and walk-behind mowers.
The company is also giving RFD-TV viewers a chance to win an Exmark cooler packed with branded gear.
Exmark Marketing Manager Lenny Mangnall joined us on Wednesday’s Market Day Report to discuss the company’s products, programs and customer support.
In his conversation with RFD News, Mangnall said one of Exmark’s primary focuses is the quality of the cut. He said a mower’s goal is to cut tall grass efficiently and productively while making the finished result look as good as possible.
Mangnall also pointed to the efficiency and productivity of Exmark equipment, along with service and support from the company and its roughly 1,500 dealers nationwide.
Finding the Right Mower
Exmark offers a broad range of equipment, and Mangnall said the first consideration for someone choosing a mower should be the size of the property.
From there, buyers can consider the deck size needed, the terrain and the types of grass they will encounter.
He said Exmark’s Quest models can be suited for smaller, flat properties, while the Radius and flagship Lazer Z models can be options as property size and mowing challenges increase.
Mangnall also encouraged buyers to rely on their local dealer, who can evaluate the property and mowing conditions and help determine which machine best fits their needs.
Programs for Farmers and Rural Property Owners
Exmark offers programs designed to make its equipment more affordable for certain customers.
The Equine, Farm and Ranch program provides discounts for people involved with horses or the cattle industry.
Exmark also has an Honors Program that offers discounts to individuals including volunteer firefighters, firefighters, police officers and EMTs.
Support After the Purchase
Mangnall said Exmark’s nationwide dealer network plays an important role in supporting customers after they purchase a machine.
The company’s roughly 1,500 to 1,600 dealers receive extensive technical and sales training.
That allows dealers to help customers address issues that may arise while they own an Exmark mower and get them back to using their equipment.

Exmark is giving RFD-TV viewers a chance to win a Grizzly cooler filled with Exmark merchandise. The giveaway is open for entries from August 23 through September 7.
The prize package includes an Exmark blanket, water bottle, coffee mug, koozies, hats, a fishing shirt and other branded gear. It also includes a miniature Lego Lazer Z mower that Exmark introduced last year.
