The Senate has confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

In that role, he will oversee agencies like the FDA. The vote was largely among party lines, with some lawmakers still holding reservations about his past statements on vaccines.

During his confirmation hearings, Kennedy made clear he believes vaccines play a critical role in health care. Ag lawmakers like Kansas Senator Roger Marshall took to social media to congratulate Kennedy.

Marshall says he looks forward to working with him to make America healthy again.
