Rural Media Group’s Patrick Gottsch Experienced The Masters In An Unforgettable Way

The 87th edition of The Masters wrapped up this past weekend, in Augusta, Georgia. It is one of four major golf tournaments in the United States, but one could argue it is the most magical.

If you have ever had the amazing chance to step on the grounds of Augusta National, you could say it was life-changing. That is especially true for Rural Media Group Founder and President, Patrick Gottsch. He had the chance to experience the tournament in a way a little more than a couple of hundred have in the past 30 years.

He was able to caddy during the traditional Par 3 Tournament for Bernhard Langer, from Germany.

Langer is a two-time Masters champion and was one of the world’s leading golfers throughout the 1980s and 1990s. In 1986, he became golf’s first official number-one-ranked player.

Gottsch was even able to show off RFD-TV’s logo on his socks, the only logo allowed on the caddies that day.
