Russia’s latest assault on Ukraine caused wheat prices to surge in early trading. Futures were up 4.5 percent this morning, with shipments slowing in the region.

Earlier, Russia released videos showing multiple missile launches, saying they reached their targets. It is one of the largest coordinated attacks since the first weeks of the war. Ukraine says there is an assault on the power grid.

Today’s blasts come after the weekend attack on the bridge linking Russia to Crimea.
