Senate passes the Grain Standards Reauthorization Act

The Senate unanimously passed the Grain Standards Reauthorization Act.

This authorizes USDA to set marketing standards for certain grains and oilseeds.

Senate Ag Committee Chair Pat Roberts says that this will allow America to continue fostering a healthy domestic grain market, as well as positive relationships with trade partners.

Ranking member Debbie Stabenow says that the bill protects the interests of American farmers.
