Showing Appreciation: Alabama launches “Thank A Farmer” Initiative

Alabama is home to over 40,000 farmers, caring for and producing food, fiber, and fuel on over 8 million acres.
The state has launched a new program to express gratitude to these farmers for their dedication and commitment, providing them with some well-earned recognition.

Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Rick Pate spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the Thank A Farmer Initiative, its goal, and the importance of producers in the state.
