Multiple reports came in on Friday, around midnight, of individuals driving down Route 73 and Horton Road in Orwell, Vermont shooting out of a truck. When the officers arrived they found six dead cows with bullet hole wounds.

The owner of the cows has not yet been located. Also, the Department of Fish and Wildlife is assisting VSP.

Brian Kemp, the owner of Mountain Meadows, told the Addison Independent that the cows have been running wild for months. He went on to state, “No one knows whose they were, even though it has been put on social media. No one ever came forth to claim them.”
