(Nashville, Tennessee…) – March 8, 2024 – Southern Indiana native Kenna Elpers has released several singles on her own and has now partnered with Craig Campbell and his Grindstone Recordings for the release of her new uptempo “Mind Like Mine” today. Kenna wrote the song solo about her man who has a “mind like mine.”

Give It A Listen

“I am incredibly honored and excited for everyone to get to hear this song and am thankful to every single person who helped make this creation what it is today,” said Kenna. “It really does take a village to make something this special, and I hope everyone enjoys this single as much as I did creating it”

Hailing from Cynthiana, Indiana, about 20 miles northwest of Evansville and 175 miles from her dreams – Nashville - the passionate singer, songwriter and musician made the move to Music City at age 18. While gigging at night, her days have been filled writing songs and studying the business of music at Middle Tennessee State University’s acclaimed recording industry program. She will graduate with a Music Business degree later this year.

Growing up the youngest in a family of five, Kenna declared her desire to be a country music singer at the age of three. No one in her family had inclinations to create music, but she and her siblings were raised listening to classic country music. She loved singing for others and writing stories that she would translate into music. She played small talent shows and open mic nights and got to play her first gig at a local venue at age 13.

“From that moment on I knew this was what I was meant to do,” added Kenna. “I played any venue, any show I was offered, and with each performance my passion grew more. I always loved Nashville and made the decision pretty young that I wanted to one day be there living out my dream, and here I am enjoying the journey!”
